Cabo Wabo was featured prominently as a sponsor on several themed-cruise events during my tenure with Sixthman. The activation encompassed everything from onboard branding to sponsored activities to the generation of onboard content for later usage. Cabo had initiated a brand new series, "Off the Record," which takes an up-and-coming musician and pits them with one of the greats to talk shop, inspiration, careers, and so forth. The first installment features Mick Fleetwood, and American singer/songwriter Nicole Atkins. We expanded that concept to include the artists traveling with our events and produced an additional ten episodes for the series.
